How To Use Read&Write Tool [wrTool] To Flash IMEI

As I told you wrtool works on all MTK, , Qualcomm and SpreadTrum android devices.but don’t forget to install your phone’s USB driver. wrTool will not work if USB drivers are not installed properly.

• At first download WrTool zip file and extract it on pc.

• Now run the WRTool.exe file

• Now following screen will be open in front of you.

• Now click on “file” and select “config” option as shown in screenshot.

• Now you will see the following screen on pc.

• Now click on “PlatefarmCongig” option and select your phone chipset [ for ex- if you are using MTK android phone then select MTK .if it’s a Qualcomm then select Qualcomm or if it’s a SpreadTrum android device then select SpreadTrum ]

 

• Now in “COMPORT” section select “USB”.

• Now under the “DatafileConfig” section select “BP database file” and “AP data Base File” from your Phone stock ROM .its only for MTK android phone.if you are using Qualcomm device then no need to use this section ,

• Click on IMEI1 & IMEI2 option if you are using Dual sim android phone and then click on “OK” Button.

• Now type the IMEI number in both section and hit enter on “WRITE” button.

• if you will see port error that means usb drivers are not installed properly.if everything is ok then process will start and you will see a green “PASS” message on the top.

• Now dial *#06# and you will see new imei number on your qualcomm android phone.
