How to use QPST Tool

QPST Tool is a utility that can flash custom firmware on any Qualcomm Android device. All latest devices that use Qualcomm chipset, you can flash them all. This tool available on Windows computer like Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10. It’s a small and easy to use the tool. Here we will show you how to use QPST Tool.

How to use QPST Tool

QPST tool formats all data on your device during flashing process. So, please take a backup of your personal data before starting. Turn on the USB Debugging under Developer settings on your device.

Step 1: Firstly, download the latest version of QPST Tool.

Step 2: Run the setup file as administrator.

Step 3: Click Next to start the insulation process.

Step 4: If you get this window, chose Complete. Then click on Next.

Step 5: Now the installation will start. Click Finish to close the installation.

Step 6: Now, go to My computer > Local Disk(C:) > Program Files (x86) > Qualcomm > QPST > bin  folder. Then find the QFIL and run it as administrator.

Step 7: The application will start now. Firstly, select ‘Flat Build’ at Build Type option.

Step 8: Click on ‘Browse’ button to select the firmware file for your device. Then click on ‘Load XML’ button and select the xml file.

Step 9: Now connect your device to the computer via USB cable while pressing the Vol up + Vol down button at once.

Step 10: Then your device will get recognized. Click on the ‘Download’ button to begin flashing.

Step 11: Wait until the process gets finished. Finally, unplug your device and reboot it.
